Personal Background: From 2001 until 2010, Peter worked as a Deputy County Attorney in the Labor Bureau at the Nassau County Attorney’s Office. Peter took on a large and diverse labor and employment caseload in which he defended the County of Nassau and its agencies against cases involving racial, ethnic, sexual, religious, age, military, disability discrimination, OSHA and FMLA matters, as well as cases involving retaliation and collective bargaining contract disputes. Peter has handled cases from inception through trial, and has appeared before the New York State Unemployment Insurance Board, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as New York and the Southern and Eastern District Federal Courts. From 2010 to 2011, Peter worked as a Plaintiff’s attorney and Senior Associate for Leeds, Morelli and Brown PC in Carle Place, NY. Peter was born and raised in Nassau County and currently resides in Suffolk County with his wife and 3 boys.
