Chris is a senior associate based in the firm’s Manhattan office. Admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey, Chris is an experienced litigator with a keen legal analytical mind, allowing for creative, effective solutions to a wide array of client issues. A graduate of St. John’s University and Hofstra University School of Law (where he served as a teaching assistant to Professors Herbert DiFonzo and Andrew Schepard), prior to working at Borrelli & Associates, Chris was a law clerk and associate at one of the largest law firms in Queens, New York, where he specialized in commercial and civil litigation, estate litigation, family law, and proceedings before the surrogate’s courts of New York State. Chris also has experience advocating for Plaintiffs in civil rights actions against New York State, The City of New York, the New York City Police Department, and the New York City Department of Corrections – Chris’ work involved him advocating on behalf of clients for claims of wrongful arrest, police brutality, false imprisonment, and malicious prosecution. In addition, Chris has also worked in the area of debt collection on both the creditor and debtor side, including spending time as an associate at one of the largest debt collection law firms in New Jersey, and in the area of guardianship appointments pursuant to New York’s Mental Hygiene Law (Article 81).
