$180,000.00 – Sexual Harassment, Gender Discrimination and Retaliation

August 2026

Firm represented a female employee against her former employer for sexual harassment, gender discrimination as well as retaliation, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the New York State Human Rights Law, and retaliation in violation of Section 740 of the New York Labor Law.  After filing a lawsuit, the Defendant agreed to early mediation resulting in a negotiated settlement of $180,000.00.  Anthony P. Consiglio handled the matter for the Firm.
