On July 10, 2026, Plaintiff McCanney, by and through her attorneys, BORRELLI & ASSOCIATES, P.L.L.C., as and for Complaint against Medi Cab Corp. (“Medi Cab”), and John Gouzos, individually, (“Gouzos”), and Richard Sehl, individually (“Sehl”) (collectively, where appropriate, as “Defendants”), alleges upon knowledge as to herself and her own actions, and upon information and belief as to all other matter, as follows:
Plaintiff worked for Defendants – – a New York corporation that operates a non-emergency medical transportation company and its owners and manager – – as a driver, from July 2, 2022, until July 24, 2022. Specifically, as detailed herein, Defendants discriminated against Plaintiff due to her sex subjecting her to a hostile work environment and sexual harassment, in violation of the New State Human Rights Law. Even further, upon Plaintiff’s complaints, and outright refusal to participate in Defendants fraud against the United States and New York State, Defendants retaliated against Plaintiff by terminating her employment.
