Altaf Chowdhury v. Peter Luger, Inc., et al., Case No. 14-cv-5880
On October 7, 2014, Lead Plaintiff Altaf Chowdhury on behalf of himself and those similarly situated filed a class and collective action lawsuit in United States District Court – Eastern District of New York vs. Peter Luger, Inc., Peter Luger of Long Island, Inc., and individuals Amy Rubenstein, Marilyn Spiera and Costa Arama. Mr. Chowdhury began working for Defendants as a server in or around September 2011. In addition, Defendants failed to furnish Mr. Chowdhury with accurate wage statements on each payday as required by the New York Labor Law.
