Amado De Jesus Mendoza, et al v. Los Muchachos Restaurant Corp., et al, Case No. 14-cv-5360

On July 10, 2014, Lead Plaintiff Amado De Jesus Mendoza on behalf of himself and those similarly situated filed a collective action lawsuit in United States District Court – Southern District of New York vs. Los Muchachos Restaurant Corp. d/b/a La Nueva Estrella, Judy Diaz and Antonio Almonte.  Plaintiff worked for Defendants as a kitchen worker from February 2010 through May 2014.  Plaintiff alleges that he worked five days per week for ten to thirteen hours per shift for about fifty-six hours per week without being given an uninterrupted lunch break or accurate wage statements in violation of New York Labor Law, New York Compensation Codes Rules and Regulations and the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.  If any person worked for the individuals or restaurants named in the lawsuit during the time period of July 10, 2008 – July 10, 2014, or has information that may be relevant to this case, contact Borrelli & Associates, P.L.L.C. as soon as possible through our website, or any of our phone numbers: (516) 248 – 5550, (516) ABOGADO, and (212) 679 – 5000.
