On February 6, 2017 Lead Plaintiff Rudy Guldmann, on behalf of himself and those similarly situated, filed a class action lawsuit in United States District Court – Eastern District of New York against Raymours Furniture Company, Inc. (“Defendant”), for the Defendant’s alleged violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”). The complaint alleges that Defendant, using an automatic telephone dialing system and without obtaining Plaintiff’s express consent, sent Plaintiff a marketing text message in violation of the TCPA.
