On November 11, 2014, Lead Plaintiff Thierno Mohamed Balde on behalf of himself and those similarly situated filed a class and collective action lawsuit in United States District Court – Northern District of New York vs. Istanbul Turkish Grill, Inc., Masis Prigian and Ahmet Guldeste. Mr. Balde worked for Defendants as a line cook from June 2014 through October 2014. He alleges that he worked sixty hours per week through his employment.
