Andrew Zaglas v. Chop Shop Restaurant (Hudson’s Mill), Case No. 14-cv-6417

On October 30, 2014, Lead Plaintiff Andrew Zaglas on behalf of himself and those similarly situated filed a class action lawsuit in United States District Court – Eastern District of New York vs. Chop Shop Restaurant. On October 29, 2014, Mr. Zaglas used his personal credit card to pay for a meal at the Hudson’s Mill, a restaurant owned and operated by the Defendant. Defendant generated and provided Mr. Zaglas with a paper receipt at the point of sale, which displayed the entire expiration date of Mr. Zaglas’s credit card in violation of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act.
