On May 30, 2014, Lead Plaintiff Jean-Marie A. Joseph on behalf of herself and those similarly situated filed a collective action lawsuit in United States District Court – Southern District of New York vs. AHRC Health Care, Inc., Tracy-Ann Adams, and Kent Williams. Mr. Joseph worked for Defendants as an Assistant Recruiter from 2005 – 2010 and an Assistant Staffing Coordinator from 2010 – 2014. Mr. Joseph alleges he worked between fifty-eight to sixty-two hours per week, but he was not paid for any hours past forty hours per week in violation of New York Labor Law, New York Compensation Codes Rules and Regulations and the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
